Match between System and Real World

Match between System and Real World refers to the idea that a product should speak the user’s language and behave in the way a user would expect it to.
a. Gulf of Execution occurs when customers have a goal but do not know how to translate that goal into executable actions with the product.
b. Gulf of Evaluation occurs when a product gives a user information that can’t be translated into something meaningful to the user.
